Housed in two custom made boxes were seventy two carvings of the cross staves as found within the groundbreaking work Viridarium Umbris. These were crafted with practical use in mind, using polished Welsh slate for durability and at a size to allow the practitioner to easily take some with them on their sojourns into the wilderness, the carved image serving as a guide for the subsequent crafting of the stave in place.
